Backend Module in TYPO3 ausblenden

Kennt ihr das? Eine Extension die ihr einsetzt bringt ein oder mehrere Backend Module mit, die ihr aber gar nicht braucht? Wie ihr diese Module global ausblenden könnt, zeigen wir euch hier.

1. Via User TSConfig

Gerade hat uns Julian noch einen Tipp via Twitter geschickt. Ausblenden funktioniert einfach über User TSConfig:

options {
	# for TYPO3 <= 11
	hideModules.nitsan = NsGalleryNsgallery
	
	# for TYPO3 >= 12
	hideModules = nitsan_NsGalleryNsgallery
}

 

2. Via PHP in der ext_tables.php

In unserem Beispiel wollen wir das Modul der Extension calendarize gerne ausblenden, da wir es nicht benötigen, die Extension aber sonst ganz gut finden. Hier hilft eine Zeile in der ext_tables.php in unserem Sitepackage:

$GLOBALS['TBE_MODULES']['web'] = str_replace(',CalendarizeCalendarize', '', $GLOBALS['TBE_MODULES']['web']);
