AI in TYPO3 – from a gimmick to a real way to simplify work

With the new AI bundle, we bring AI directly to where content is created – into the TYPO3 backend. No external tools, no workarounds, no licensing issues. Four streamlined extensions that function independently:

1) in2code/sitescore – SEO and GEO scoring in the backend

How good is my website really? With sitescore, editors receive an AI-powered evaluation of their content directly in the TYPO3 backend. The extension analyzes pages according to SEO and GEO criteria and provides concrete suggestions for improvement. This transforms search engine optimization from an expert topic into a daily routine.

The advantages: No more external SEO tools, immediate feedback during content creation, and measurable quality improvements.

2) in2code/texter – Generate texts in the RTE

Say goodbye to blank text boxes and writer's block. With texter, editors can create, rewrite, or optimize high-quality texts directly in the CKEditor using simple prompts. The generated text is immediately placed in the content element – ​​ready for further editing.

The benefits: Reduce editorial backlog, ensure consistent tone across all content, and free up time for strategic tasks.

3) in2code/imager – Generate images without a stock photo subscription

As the first TYPO3 extension, imager utilizes the brand-new Google Gemini API for image generation. Editors describe their needs in text and receive custom-made images in seconds. Directly within the file manager, ready to use immediately.

The advantage: No expensive stock photo subscriptions, no time-consuming searches, no licensing worries. Unlimited creative freedom.

4) in2code/alternative – Accessible alt text at the touch of a button

With alternative, AI analyzes images and automatically generates matching alt text. One click in the backend – done. For large image libraries, there's also a CLI command that processes entire directory trees. A particularly useful feature: Alt text is automatically generated in all configured languages.

The benefits: Achieve BfSG compliance, fully exploit SEO potential, and systematically address any backlogs.

AI chatbot in the LUX backend

Our marketing automation tool LUX now features an AI assistant. Marketing managers can ask questions about their data directly in the backend: "Which leads were most engaged this week?" or "Show me the performance of my last campaign." The AI ​​analyzes the LUX data and provides clear, understandable answers.

AI search in the in2studyfinder

Our university and college course finder now features an intelligent AI search. Prospective students can describe what they are looking for in natural language and receive suitable courses. No more rigid filter masks, but genuine understanding of queries like "I want to study something related to technology and sustainability."
