in2code supported the University of Regensburg in migrating their website from Imperia to TYPO3. Depending on the task, one or more colleagues provide the university with technical consulting. The focus is on ensuring a smooth transition to a modern, future-proof system.
At the start of a relaunch, it is important to develop a structured concept for content distribution across the site. We began by identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the existing website to create a clear foundation for the relaunch. Which content is performing well? Which areas could be improved? This was followed by a target audience analysis to gain a deeper understanding of users’ needs, interests, and challenges.
We implemented a modern, scalable cloud infrastructure that ensures the reliable and high-performance operation of the TYPO3 web platform. The focus was on stability, security, and ease of maintenance.
Since the website had not been updated for many years, it was time to refresh the first impression. The redesign focused on bold typography, clear visual elements, and a simple, modern color palette. The research portal also received a new look and was enhanced with a vertical navigation to make it easier for users to access the relevant content.
