in2code on tour - what's going on with us!
These have been exciting weeks! We've been on the road a lot, gathered some exciting impressions, met customers and colleagues, and basically, it's going to continue in the same vein. The next events are already waiting! But first, we want to summarize our impressions for you a little bit. The last few days and weeks have been really exciting, and we'd like to share them with you.
Agency Roundtable & LUX Day
Anyone who follows us on LinkedIn will have noticed our event promotions. This year, we finally held another Agency Roundtable together with TYPO3 Agency. In a relaxed atmosphere, the agencies exchanged ideas and everyone benefited. Whether developers, agencies, project managers, or others - there was something for everyone!
Our LUX Day took place immediately afterwards for the second time. There, we presented the latest innovations for our marketing automation tool LUX, such as fingerprinting with IP addresses and the new AI feature, which was released on the same day. There was also an exciting UX talk about carousels and how to implement and use them correctly today.
TYPO3camp Munich
After a successful warm-up, we moved straight on to TYPO3camp Munich, where we were once again honored to be a gold sponsor this year. Over the two days, there were many exciting presentations on TYPO3 and other topics.
Saturday kicked off with a keynote speech asking what bread baking has to do with software development and community. Six of our colleagues took part in TYPO3camp, some of them giving their own presentations.
In his presentation, Olivier Dobberkau, President of the TYPO3 Association, drew parallels between the Argonauts and TYPO3 to explain open source as a social ritual. Other outstanding presentations included “TYPO3 Superpowers” by Oliver Bartsch and “PHP Unit Testing for POs and Developers” by Helmut Strasser.
The program was rounded off with a social event on Saturday evening. All in all, it was two great days with lots of good conversations, lots of knowledge, and a great location with excellent catering.
University Days Saarbrücken
This year, we were once again the main sponsor of TYPO3 University Days - this time at Saarland University's Saarbrücken campus. This event is always particularly exciting for us, as we get to meet many of our customers in person and enjoy engaging in lively, open discussions. What's more, the event focuses on one of our most important customer segments!
In our talk about the studycoursefinder for TYPO3 we presented our new AI feature, which is designed to make it easier to find the perfect course. We also took part in the panel discussion on TYPO3 updates and how to implement them stress-free. And who better to join the discussion than our project manager Sandra?
We are taking many exciting impressions from Saarbrücken with us and are highly motivated to optimize our future processes. Because events like this also show us that the competition never sleeps.
Annual Conference of the German Association for University Communication
For the first time, we were part of HKOM and made our way to the University of Hamburg. The event offers numerous programs related to university communications, student marketing, social media, and much more. It was a perfect opportunity for us to gain even more insights and knowledge in one of our most important customer segments.
The focus is on exchanging ideas and networking with colleagues. With over 600 registered participants, we had plenty of opportunities to gather this input through numerous conversations. How convenient that our booth was located right next to the highly sought-after coffee spot! This allowed us to welcome many coffee lovers to our booth and invite them to enjoy cookies and a relaxed conversation.
But we also want to pass on our knowledge. In our talk “Do's & Don'ts - What to consider when tendering” we gave participants tips for the next tenders and what to pay more attention to in the future. Because for many customers, the view from the other side is just as valuable!
SCCON Berlin
The Smart Country Convention Berlin is one of the leading events for digital government and public services. At SCCON, experts from the digital economy and administration show how digital transformation can succeed. Among the 650 speakers, 400 exhibitors, and exciting workshops, we were also there at the TYPO3 partner booth!
In one of our talks, we presented our Notfallwebsite in more detail and explained what to do in the event of an attack. The talk location was pretty cool!
For TYPO3, the event was a great and important opportunity to further promote the CMS in this sector. As a partner at the booth, we were also able to have many good conversations and look back on the event positively!
What's next?
We are particularly looking forward to T3CON in November and are already excited to see whether we will be taking home a TYPO3 Award for the third time in a row. We have already made it onto the nomination list with Münchener Verein! It certainly remains exciting, and one thing is certain: we won't be bored!
